To Write or Not To Write

Geee... what a terrible blogger i am, no updates for..emmm, let me see, my last post was in February...wow, 3 months!!!...always hanging out in FB, that's why...the only thing that i want to do when i'm at home is lay down and watch t.v and SLEEP, SLEEP and more SLEEP...oohhh, how i really wish i could do that (in my dream lah).

Ever since Lily start primary one this year(J.J is still in kinder 2)...our morning will start as early as 5am, 5:30am wake the kids up..this is a struggle for hubby & me and i really mean it. Everybody should be ready by 6:30am and to avoid traffic jam, we have leave the house by 6:40am. So, after all that morning situation...plus being so busy with work and at the same time doing chores...i hardly have time to switch on the computer. But today, i made an effort to post this..

Trip To Kundasang (Day 1)

For days I've been thinking where is the best place to go during the school holiday. I suggested to hubby that we go to Kundasang and stay one night at Kinabalu Pine Resorts. Still, a suggestion is only a suggestion without any proper action. Only on the 4th day of the school break did we made the reservation and we want to on Friday! Luckily there's still a chalet for us.

On the 28th August 2009; the weather was perfect; we left Inanam at about 10 am and arrived Kinabalu Pine Resorts, Kundasang at about 11:30 am. We went straight to the resort hoping that they will let us check-in early. This time, we're not so lucky, check-in time is 1 pm. So, to occupy the time, we did these.......

When it was finally 1pm, they gave us the key to our chalet and..........taaaadaaaaaa.......

After checked-in and unpacked our bags, we went to Hot Spring. Both hubby & me have not been there for so long and since we're in Kundasang we must go to this place.

That night, we had KFC for dinner and played.....

To be continued.....

What's for breakfast?

It has been 2 weeks since our last visit to Kinarut, so today we decided to 'balik kampung'. We left Inanam at about 10 a.m, after we had our mini breakfast (Nescafe 3 in 1, Jasmin Tea, Milo & biscuits) at home. On our way to Kinarut, we decided to have another breakfast in Donggongon, and we had these....

....Tom Yam with fish & Kon Lau Mien.

OMG...Sick Beggar & Now This.......

Hubby decided to fulfil the kids' wishes by taking them to Servay Hypermarket in Likas. We went there last night but before heading straight to Servay, we had our dinner in one of the fast food outlets nearby. My hubby went to make the order while I choose where to sit.

While I was waiting, a middle age man came to our table and said something to me in chinese. He was holding a small blue colour card and when I took a closer look, it was a hospital appointment card. The man was still trying to explain something to me and I just do the 'No, No' sign (since I don't understand a word what he's saying), not until he said the word 'CANCER' and pointed his left leg. I was surprised and felt sorry for the beggar but...if what he's trying to tell me is true, then what is he doing in the fast food outlet (I know he wants money)...but shouldn't he be lying on the hospital bed. I didn't give him any money so he left. When my hubby came to the table, I told him all about it. He said the man went to the counter and asked for free food. I have no idea what happen next, enough with him.
We had to wait for about 10 minutes for our meal to arrive, and when it finally did, I saw something strange with one of the fried chicken......

When I saw it, it was covered with crust and I thought it was only chicken feather. To my surprise, there was this wire stinking out and it look like the one I use to scrub my pots at home...oh dear. Minutes later, I saw the same sick man walked passed the fast food outlet with his head high as if nothing happened.

Gong Xi Fa Cai...Ang Pau Kei Lai

I hope it's not too late to wish you all SIN NIEN KUAI LE & GONG XI FA CAI . We all had a long holiday last weekend and some might be still on leave till end of this week. We had lunch at my FIL's house on 26th and I spent the whole 27th at home...........doing nothing. Hubby took the kids to ang pau hunting on 27th. When they came back, the kids showed me their ang paus and after calculated they each got about RM40.00. Not bad ya! J.J has told daddy what he wanted to buy.....basketball, and Lily.....pink purse.

'adui mummy.....adui.....'

Yesterday, dearest hubby took us to Donggongon for breakfast. I couldn't remember the name of the coffee shop but the place is popular for its spicy noodles with fish head but since all the tables were already taken, we went to the next block.

We were doing our own things yesterday afternoon, hubby was doing the cleaning where the 'aramai ti' took place, J.J and Lily was playing with their toys and I was watching t.v when suddenly I heard J.J calling 'mummy, mummy', he was about to cry. I was shocked to see his finger got stuck in between the chainring of his mini car. J.J was crying as I tried to get his finger out from the it and when he saw blood, he cried even louder. J.J refused to be treated and continued crying for about 20 minutes. J.J let Doctor Daddy do the bandage only when we told him that he won't be able to go school with an injured finger.

The Story Of RM30

Wah, we just came back from 1Borneo. Didn't realize that it's already 9pm. We went there about 4 pm after sending J.J to Kinarut, he wanted to stay for the weekend. There's a lot of happenings in 1Borneo...part from SALES. There's free hand/face painting for children and there's this Indian man who is an expert in Chinese, Arabic and Indian calligraphy...very interesting one....sorry didn't take photo of the Indian man but I have these to show you all...

There are a few paintings that you can choose from..Christmas tree, Reindeer, Mistletoe, Santa. Lily chose Reindeer.

After Lily got her painting done, we went to have our dinner at RasaMas. While having dinner, I suddenly remember that the reason I persuaded my hubby to drive all the way here is because I wanted to go to Kamdar....lol....this must be the doing of all the Christmas decorations, Christmas songs and sales...I was distracted. Finish eating, hubby paid the bill and off we go to Kamdar. While walking to the escalator....

Hubby : Yang....jumpa duit!
Me : uhh...?????...jumpa???? (still walking)
Hubby : Ya bah...duit terjatuh...(counting the money)....nah RM30! (...smiling...)
Me : .....(bingung2x lg)....(someone had accidentally dropped RM30 and my husband has just been lucky......o.k.....now I'm just waiting for someone to yell 'Hei! That's my money!.....but it didn't happen....feel sorry for the person)

.....so from there, the three of us went straight to Kamdar.

THE END

Out With The Kids

Hi friends, been so lazy these days, didn't even border to do any updates. Today, me & hubby decided to go to Wisma Merdeka with the kids. Even though it's only 10am, almost every car parks are full. People seems to be arriving early for the sale. The kids were so excited when they saw Christmas trees on sales. We've bought one last week, so they're got even more excited to hang the ornaments. Went to Segama just to check out the shops.

On the way back, we stopped at Likas Bay. The beach that was once been left out, has turn into a beautiful/clean place with children's playground. We let the kids play for awhile before heading strait home. We were so tired that we all had a good rest for the whole afternoon.

Some photos taken today...

Family Matters II

I was shocked to receive an sms from my brother at about 7:45 am informing me that my dad took my mum to the ER early this morning, still complain about the headache. I tried to call my dad through his mobile but no answer, probably he's in the ER. I really hate the feeling when you really want to know the outcome and you can not get the person....ah. I called my brother to ask him but he's still in the office and has not call my dad yet. About an hour later, I managed to talk to him, he told me that at the moment my mum is on drip. Have to wait for the specialist. About 11 pm today, my dad called and informed that my mum has been discharged. She's in her 60 so she really needs a good rest at home. Praise the Lord that it's not serious. Thank you Lord.
